These days my state Gujarat is going through heavy rains. People in Surat city were worried about it as they passed through the same situation in 2006. A guy in Surat anonymously started Facebook page to share latest information about water levels in Dams and etc. He stopped rumours getting spread.He didn't reveal his identity until the worst situation passed. Now just to show that, that page is not associated with any political parties he had to reveal his identity. He didn't gain any revenue but he gained respect of all the people of Surat and also mine. Hats off to Bassar Patel owner of that page.Visit that page Surat Flood Information  and see how it created the difference.People liked it and followed it blindly.In just 2 or 3 days it got about 15000 likes and counting.This is how one can use social media positively.I learnt a lot.Hats off to that guy.Keep helping man!!

Yeah,Google knows your Wi-fi password. If you are using an Android device and your automatic backup is on,your Wi-Fi password is also with Google.

Google is backing up the data since Android2.2. We need not to worry our data to fall in wrong hands as its Google but ever since I have heard about the government programs like Prism, I am concerned about my data.

What if government get access to your password information through google, they will have direct access to your routers and monitor all your internet activites from there.

So how to be safe from such things?

We can avoid this by turning off automatic backup of our Android device.After turning it off just change your wifi password and surf freely.

Why Microsoft Buys Nokia?

We all heard the news that Microsoft has bought Nokia for $7 Billion.This deal looks like the Google acquisition of Motorolla.

The question is Why Microsoft have to made deal like this with Nokia??

Nokia was struggling due to the competition with Android and iOS devices.It was either going to change to produce Android devices or get bankrupt.The latter was the more possible case. Microsoft had no choice but to buy Nokia.It was like either double down or quit.Microsoft choose to double down as it always does.

Some other reasons why Microsoft bought Nokia are:
Nokia was the dominant in Windows phone devices.
With this deal Microsoft came in end-to-end device market.

Lets see whether combining of these two weak companies (at present in phone market) can create a new strong competitor.
