This is the blog on technology and I usually write about latest gadgets.But I would like to share with you how we people can get the maximum out of these gadgets.Use it in positive manner and help the humanity.
These days my state Gujarat is going through heavy rains. People in Surat city were worried about it as they passed through the same situation in 2006. A guy in Surat anonymously started Facebook page to share latest information about water levels in Dams and etc. He stopped rumours getting spread.He didn't reveal his identity until the worst situation passed. Now just to show that, that page is not associated with any political parties he had to reveal his identity. He didn't gain any revenue but he gained respect of all the people of Surat and also mine. Hats off to Bassar Patel owner of that page.Visit that page Surat Flood Information and see how it created the difference.People liked it and followed it blindly.In just 2 or 3 days it got about 15000 likes and counting.This is how one can use social media positively.I learnt a lot.Hats off to that guy.Keep helping man!!
